I worked with a client for some time on various design jobs before they opened in a new location overseas. They asked me to design the signage and exterior of their new building. I thought we’d begin with the easy part: the shopfront sign above the customer entrance.

Me: Could you send me a photo of the front face of the building as it is currently, as well as the dimensions of the sign?

I haven’t edited or changed his reply in any way.

Client: Heres photos. Thats the front which is the side and that is the side that is the front.

Me: …What?
