I produce online courses for a university. Most of our courses will end up being around 15 hours of video material, usually in the form of a couple hundred 5-minute videos.
I was working on a course that was set to launch on Monday. The following email exchange occurred on Friday at 4PM, over a month after the course’s material was posted for the professor to review:
Client: In one of the videos, I repeat myself. Could you edit that out before we launch on Monday?
Me: Sure, which video?
Client: I’m not sure. I rewatched the whole course the past two days, and I know there was a video where I said the same sentence twice.
Me: Ok, do you remember what the sentence is? I can probably look it up in the transcript.
Client: No, I’m not sure. But it’s pretty obviously wrong, so it really needs to be fixed by Monday.
