I often encounter clients who email me images pasted into Word docs instead of just attaching the JPEG. It’s a hazard that comes from the job.
This was something different.
Me: Here’s your new logo in JPEG and EPS format. You’ll usually only need the JPEG unless you need to print the logo large format, in which case you should use the EPS.
Client: Can we have it in Word format please?
Me: That won’t quite work I’m afraid. A Word doc is not an image file.
Client: But can you put it in a Word doc so we can copy and paste it please?
Me: You can actually just insert the JPEG into a DOC if you want.
Client: Really? Well you learn something new every day!
I’m worried I may have created a monster.
