Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.

Note: We're going to stop doing weekly episode reviews of Lethal Weapon here, though I will check back in for the season finale.

It appeared, at first, that "Homebodies" was going to be a fluffy(ish) "back from the break" episode that eased us into the Lethal routine after the heaviness delivered by "Jingle Bell Glock." That remained partially true, though there were a ton of interesting moving parts here that really helped this episode gel in great ways.

Likewise, the show found a new pressure point for the Riggs/Murtaugh relationship that it was able to play for both laughs and drama. Let's face it, with Riggs and his crippled psyche there's only so many ways to skin a cat. You want to address it and and utilize it, but you don't want to get repetitive. It stands to reason that he'd be damaged and shaken after the last episode, but the way that's presented is important.
